ABOUT MAE RIVERS

Born In Edmonton, now rooted in Nova Scotia, Mae Rivers is an indie singer-songwriter with a passion for all things music. Within Her first year of performing, Mae has gained a momentum within her small community some only see after years in the industry.


CAREER AND HIGHLIGHTS


Although new to the music scene, beginning her journey in late 2024, Mae Rivers has already made strides, landing her first big gigs on festival stages in just under 6 months of performing publicly.
Notable performances include Makin' Waves Festival, Celtic Colours, Acoustic Roots Festival, and soon to be Stan Fest 2026!
Mae has also shared the stage with respected East Coast artists such as, Slowcoaster, Colin Grant, Pretty Archie, Elyse Aeryn and Brooklyn Blackmore. Further cementing her spot in the vibrant Atlantic coast music scene.


STYLE AND INFLUENCES


Even thoughMae feels that her style is still evolving, she has always loved Neil Young, The Black Keys, Mt. Joy, and Jim Croce, citing them as major influences on the way she tells stories.
She crafts music that she hopes speaks to the heart. Songs her listeners may relate to in some way. Mae incorporates themes of love, loss, longing and resilience, often acompanied by an R&B or acoustic sound.
